Dented Brick Craft Vodka is the top-selling vodka in Utah. It comes from the Dented Brick Distillery in Salt Lake City. The team buys in a neutral grain spirit and finishes it in-house. First it runs through charcoal to strip out impurities while keeping some gentle flavor.

The water is the part locals talk about most. The distillery has its own artesian well. That water starts as Rocky Mountain snowmelt and filters through limestone on the way down. It is naturally free of chemicals and bacteria, and it is used to bring the vodka down to bottling strength. The result is a soft, rounded spirit at 40% ABV.

Give it a sniff and you will find vanilla cake with a bright lemon edge. On the palate it tastes a bit like Nilla wafers and citrus. The mouthfeel is smooth. Soft vanilla cupcake notes build into a lively burst of lemon. The finish is semi-dry, with lemon pepper, vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt.

Judges have noticed it too. It took a Gold medal at the 2022 John Barleycorn Awards. In 2026 Tastings.com gave it a Silver medal and 87 points.

The clean finish makes it an easy base for a martini or a vodka tonic. That hint of vanilla and lemon also works well in a lemon drop or a mule. Of course, you can sip it chilled and neat as well. Serve it whichever way you like your vodka.
