Description

This Blanco Tequila (also known as Silver or Plata) is made from 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave, which is naturally sweeter because it grows at high altitude. It is produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, although some sources mention Purísima del Rincón in Guanajuato. The agave is slowly roasted in traditional clay or brick ovens, and the tequila is usually double-distilled in small copper stills, keeping only the best part called the Corazón.

The result is a crystal-clear spirit with a fresh and vibrant taste, featuring citrus and agave flavors, sometimes with hints of lime, white pepper or coconut. It also has complex sweet notes including fresh citrus, lime, warm brown spice and a touch of vanilla, making it very smooth and enjoyable.

This tequila is typically 80 proof (40% alcohol) and comes in a 750 mL bottle. Marketed as a luxury ultra-premium tequila, it is co-owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs in partnership with Diageo. It is best enjoyed neat in a chilled shot glass, over ice or in premium cocktails like Margaritas. Depending on location and retailer, it falls in the mid-to-high price range for premium Blanco tequilas, offering both quality and a refined drinking experience.
