Crown Royal Noble Collection French Oak Cask Finished Whisky starts with Crown Royal Fine De Luxe. It then rests three to four months in new toasted French oak. This fourth Noble Collection release came out in 2019.

The oak comes from the Vosges region of France and is seasoned outdoors for two years. A two-step fire toast draws caramel, vanilla and fruit into the whisky.

Butterscotch, vanilla and warm spice greet you on the nose. The palate has a strong body, a spicy character and rich caramel and dark fruit. The finish is long, mildly sweet and spicy.

Whisky Advocate gave it 93 points. The Crown Royal story began in 1939, with a blend made as a gift for the King and Queen of England. Enjoy it neat to taste the full depth of the oak.
