Crown Royal Blenders’ Mash spotlights one of the five whiskies in the Crown Royal blend. It is the corn-heavy one: about 64% corn, 32% rye and 4% malt.

It launched in 2018 as Bourbon Mash. As a Canadian whiskey, that name confused bourbon fans, so it was renamed.

Expect ripe apple and buttery toffee on the nose. Creamy vanilla, dried orchard fruit, allspice and toasted oak follow. It ends with sweet caramel.

Made in Gimli, Manitoba, at 40% ABV. Try it over ice or in an Old Fashioned.
