Corazon Extra Anejo Tequila (750Ml)

Description

This Extra Añejo Tequila comes from Casa San Matías, a distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The house has made tequila for more than 130 years. It still follows the original family recipe. It is a single estate tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave from Los Altos.

Stone and brick ovens slowly roast the agave before a roller mill presses out the juice. The juice is distilled twice in pot stills. After that, the tequila rests for at least 36 months in American oak. You get it in a 750ml bottle at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Pour a glass and you will find earthy roasted pineapple and sweet vanilla on the nose. The palate is very smooth. Oak, tropical fruit and spice come together and carry you into a polished, sophisticated finish.

This bottle has earned real praise. It won a Double Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Wine Enthusiast also scored it 93 points.

Take your time with it neat, or over one large ice cube. It is a slow sipper that is ideal for true tequila lovers.
