Description

Corazón Blanco is a single-estate tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave. It comes from Casa San Matías, a family-owned distillery in the Highlands, or Los Altos, of Jalisco. The agave is grown on the estate, and the tequila is bottled by hand. After the second distillation, the team infuses oxygen into the spirit to soften it. It is bottled unaged at 40% ABV and is sold as additive-free.

Bring it to your nose and you get baked pineapple, roasted jalapeño and tangerine zest. Light herbal tones sit underneath. The palate feels creamy, with a bright citrus edge and a light mineral note. The finish turns spicy and peppery, and it wakes up your mouth.

Corazón Blanco was named World's Best Blanco at the 2019 World Tequila Awards. It also won a Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Sipping it neat or on ice shows off the agave. It is also a handy base for cocktails like a Margarita, a Paloma or Ranch Water. Pair it with grilled fish tacos, ceviche or anything with lime.
