Description

Código 1530 Blanco is an unrested tequila made from 100% lowland agave. The brand hand-selects fully mature plants and follows a family recipe kept for generations. It comes from a single NOM distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco, and is bottled at origin.

Código says there are no added chemicals, sweeteners, flavoring or coloring. The tequila is also certified kosher. What you taste comes straight from the agave and the still.

In the glass it looks crystal clear. The aroma brings fresh mint, cut grass and spring flowers. The palate is herbaceous and clean, with soft agave sweetness. It ends on black pepper and a bright touch of citrus.

This blanco has some gold on its shelf, too. It won a Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Wine & Spirits Competition. It took another gold at the 2022 PR%F Awards.

Sip it neat or over ice to enjoy those green, herbal notes. It shines in a Ranch Water with fresh lime and soda, or in a Bloody Maria. Try it with ceviche, grilled shrimp, fish tacos or guacamole.
