A higher share of its whiskies is matured in Oloroso sherry casks. These are barrels that once held sherry wine from Jerez, Spain. They give the blend extra depth and a fruity sweetness.

The blend brings together rare malt whiskies and grain whiskies. On the nose you get ripe pear, creamy toffee and milk chocolate. The palate adds vanilla, caramel and a little ginger. The finish is smooth, with hints of almond and cinnamon.
