Description

Cazcabel Blanco is a tequila made from sun-baked blue Weber agave in the highlands of Jalisco. It comes from an independent micro distillery in Arandas. The team lets each plant grow for about seven years before harvest. By then the agave has the balance of sugar and acidity it needs.

The spirit is double distilled and bottled unaged. At 38% ABV it sits a little below many tequilas. That keeps it easy to sip and friendly as a shot.

On the nose you get earthy agave, a light touch of spice and a slight hint of citrus. The palate is fresh and crisp, with a rustic agave character that feels honest. It ends crisp and dry, so you are ready for the next sip.

Try it neat, as a cold shot with a lime wedge, or in a Margarita or Paloma. It also goes well with tacos, ceviche and grilled fish. Patience in the field is what you are tasting here.
