This is a premium cognac crafted in France by a historic, family-run house established in 1863. You get a spirit made from grapes grown only on the family’s private vineyards in Borderies, the smallest and oldest area in the Cognac region. Its chalky clay soil gives the eau-de-vie a floral and nutty character you can taste in every sip.
You’re drinking an XO, which means the youngest part of the blend aged at least ten years in French oak. The team distills the wine on the lees to deepen the aromas and add richness.
On the nose, you notice bright floral notes like violet and iris, followed by warm pastry and vanilla. Take a sip and you feel a velvety texture with hints of dried fruit, cinnamon, and soft spice. It finishes smooth and lingering.
Serve it neat at room temperature in a tulip glass so you enjoy the full bouquet. Pair it with dark chocolate, pastries, or aged cheese when you want to slow down after dinner. The elegant decanter and gift box make it easy to share — or keep for yourself.
