Bushmills 10 Year Irish Whiskey (750Ml)

Description

Bushmills 10 Year is a single malt whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery on the north coast of Northern Ireland. The distillery calls itself the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, with roots in 1608. Its water comes from the River Bush.

The spirit is triple distilled from 100% malted barley, with no peat. It then matures for at least ten years in bourbon-seasoned barrels and former Oloroso sherry casks. That mix gives you a light, fruity malt with a soft sherry edge. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The nose is bright and fresh, with honey, ripe tropical fruit, vanilla and a touch of milk chocolate. On the palate you get vanilla bean, mocha, dried apricot and toasty oak. The finish is crisp, clean and long, with oak and dried fruit lingering.

It won Gold at the International Spirits Challenge in 2024. The World Whiskies Awards named it the Best Irish Single Malt back in 2007. Jim Murray's Whisky Bible scores it 92.5 points.

Enjoy it neat, over two ice cubes on a warm day, or straight from the freezer. It also makes an easy Irish highball.
