Bulleit Bourbon Bottled in Bond (750Ml)

Description

Bulleit Bottled in Bond is a Kentucky straight bourbon made under the rules of the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act. Each release comes from one distilling season at one distillery. It ages in a federally bonded warehouse and is bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV. The law asks for at least four years, but Bulleit gives this one seven.

It is the first bourbon distilled by the Bulleit Distilling Co. itself. The first edition, distilled in spring 2017, arrived in February 2025. The 2026 edition was distilled in fall 2018. Both draw on Bulleit's classic high-rye mash bill of 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley.

The nose is spicy and fruity, with toasted oak, caramel, dark cherry and orange. On the palate it feels weighty and viscous. Maple syrup, nutmeg and sweet nuts mix with baking spice. The finish brings smooth butterscotch and a long trail of rye spice.

It has picked up praise quickly. It scored 91 points at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2024. It also won Platinum at the ASCOT Awards in 2025.

Sip it neat or over a large cube. The extra proof stands up well in an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan. Try it with smoked brisket, aged cheddar or pecan pie.
