In 1907, Buchanan received a request from the Emperor of Japan and the Royal Court of Spain. James Buchanan died in 1935 at the age of 85. This is the whisky that will make every moment a little more special. Whisky is very soft and very evocative. Sweet and creamy, with a subtle chocolate and orange note. Slightly sweet, slightly spicy, but creamy. fresh and spicy, with hints of rosemary and pine. Fresh and soft notes of chocolate covering the mouth. A tingling on the tongue, followed by a dry finish and a nutty aftertaste. Light amber color. Aromas of buttered lemon poppy seed muffin, praline, and sour cream frosting with a soft, silky dryish medium body and lightly smoky peat, creamed honey, pound cake, roasted nut, and peppery spice finish. A zesty satisfying blend.
