Blood Oath Pact No. 11 is the 2025 edition of a yearly, one-time release from Lux Row Distillers. Master Distiller John Rempe blends rare bourbons in new ways.

It joins a 14-year-old rye-recipe bourbon, a 10-year-old wheated bourbon and a 7-year-old rye-recipe bourbon. The youngest part was finished in Anejo tequila barrels from the mountains of Jalisco. It is bottled at 98.6 proof, or 49.3% ABV.

On the nose you get cherry with a bright hint of citrus. The palate opens warm, with vanilla and black pepper over spice and oak. The finish is velvety and rich, with black cherry and dark chocolate.

Sip it neat, or add a few drops of water. Try it with dark chocolate or smoked brisket. The fire-branded wooden box makes it a striking gift.
