This bourbon is aged in Tennessee for at least six years. It rests in new, No. 1 charred American white oak barrels. The mash is 70% corn, 26% rye and 4% malted barley. It is bottled at 92 proof, so it has some weight without feeling hot.

Vanilla and sweet hay come first on the nose. Sandalwood and mace add a warm, spicy edge. The palate enters smoothly and stays balanced, with a hint of pecan pie sweetness. Then a warm, rich spice builds. The finish lasts a long time and ends on the brand's signature chestnut note.
