The oldest brand of Armenian brandy, Ararat, was founded by Nerses and Vasily Tairyan in 1887. Over 130 years ago, these pioneers laid the foundations of what would become a pinnacle of premium, high-quality brandy, with its first international recognition occurring in the 1902 World Exhibition in the birthplace of cognac: France. Since then, Ararat brandy has grown in recognition, notoriety, and breadth, spanning throughout 35 countries as the first global Armenian cognac.
Their award-winning statements offer a beautiful balance of history, tradition, and authenticity with modernity, uniqueness, and innovation. At their Yerevan distillery, experienced cognac artisans craft brandy with local Armenian grapes and fresh water from the Katnakhbyur spring and age in barrels made with Caucasian oak wood. Ararat Apricot pays homage to the beloved golden fruit of Armenia.
A combination of Ararat’s legendary Armenian brandy and apricots, this brandy exemplifies centuries of tradition blending with the creativity and innovation of Ararat. Bright and golden colored, Ararat Apricot offers the sweet flavors of ripe apricots with brandy notes and hints of vanilla and licorice. Sip chilled, on the rocks or craft a unique and delicious cocktail!
