Over 130 years ago, these pioneers laid the foundations of what would become a pinnacle of premium, high-quality brandy, with its first international recognition occurring in the 1902 World Exhibition in the birthplace of cognac: France. Their award-winning statements offer a beautiful balance of history, tradition, and authenticity with modernity, uniqueness, and innovation. At their Yerevan distillery, experienced cognac artisans craft brandy with local Armenian grapes and fresh water from the Katnakhbyur spring and age in barrels made with Caucasian oak wood. Ararat 7 Year “Ani” is named in honor of the great city of Ani, whose power and history dates back centuries as the homeland of Armenian Brandy. A carefully hand-selected blend, Ani appears amber with rich mahogany shades. Its elegant bouquet offers notes of citrus, fig, and sweet almond. The palate is powerfully rounded with fresh, spicy and bright notes including orange, vanilla and almond.
