Description

Amador Whiskey Company is passionate about crafting luxury, limited-production bourbon whiskey. They strive to blend the best of Kentucky bourbon with Napa valley wine production. Their Double Barrel Chardonnay Cask was their second creation. With new, charred American oak barrels, they crafted this bourbon with hop-flavored whiskey and Charbay Distillers. Following, it was transported along the 38th parallel, all the Way to California, where it was then finished in their family Napa Cellars for 6 months in Chardonnay French oak barrels. The influence from the two barrels is reflected in this exceptional bourbon. With a beautiful copper color, this bourbon has aromas with notes of oak, vanilla and spice. The pate is rich and full-bodied with flavors of brown sugar, butterscotch, honey and hits of tobacco and toasted almonds. The finish is creamy, long, and satisfying. This complex and layered whiskey is wonderful neat or with a few drops of spring water.
