Adictivo Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila from El Arenal, in Jalisco, Mexico. Founder Gildardo Partida comes from a family that has made tequila for more than a century. The spirit rests for two years in French oak barrels. That time gives it an intense golden amber color.

Toasted aromas greet you first, with dried fruit and toasted oak. Vanilla and caramel follow and carry into the sip. Take a sip and the texture feels silky. A gentle sweetness and cooked agave run through the palate. The finish is long and keeps that sweet touch to the end.

Adictivo has done well in competition. It earned Double Gold at the 2017 San Diego Spirits Festival, plus a Silver for its design. It came back for a Bronze there in 2018.

This is an añejo tequila made for slow sipping. Pour it neat into a snifter, or over one large cube. Try it with dark chocolate, flan or grilled steak.
