Absolut México Limited Edition Vodka (750Ml)

Description

Absolut México is a collector’s bottle with a classic vodka inside. The liquid is original Absolut Vodka, made in Åhus in southern Sweden. What makes it special is the bright art on the glass.

The design comes from Dr. Lakra, a contemporary artist and tattooist from Oaxaca. He blended three figures from ancient Mayan culture: Hurakan the hurricane, Kukulkan the serpent and Balam the jaguar. Absolut first released the edition in Mexico in 2012, and it reached US shelves in 2013.

The vodka is made from Swedish winter wheat and deep well water. Absolut describes it as rich, full-bodied and complex, yet smooth and mellow. You will notice a clear grain character and a hint of dried fruit. Light touches of caramel and vanilla follow, and the finish is fresh and fruity. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

Serve it chilled, over ice or mixed. Try it with pineapple juice and lime, or with lemonade. Keep the empty bottle on a shelf, because the art deserves a second life.
