John Dewar & Sons was part of the creation of Aberfeldy Scotch Whiskey. Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made with from barley that was milled through the Porteus mill before being fermented and mashed in copper pot spirit stills and washbacks. It is then matured in casks that were once used to store bourbon. Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky is a fruity, clean, and smooth single malt. The flavor has a mixture of honey and spice.

Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a product of Scotland from the Highland region. It has a medium body with a rich mouthfeel and has a semi-sweet flavor. There are flavors of nutmeg, apple, melon, and honey. There is a toasty and fresh flavor. The palate has a delightful and smooth texture. Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a gentle yet sweet taste and is very smooth. The finish has a honey tasete with an even balance. There is a tangy yet rich end taste has won a gold medal at the 2015 San Fransciso World Spirits Competition.
