1800 Silver Tequila (750Ml)

Description

1800 Silver is a blanco tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, Mexico. Jimadores harvest each piña by hand at peak maturity. The agave is cooked in traditional brick ovens. It then ferments with a proprietary yeast and is double distilled in copper pot stills.

The spirit rests for about 15 days before bottling, so it sees very little wood. That keeps it clean, fresh and bright. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The aroma leans toward fresh citrus. On the palate, you get natural agave sweetness and more citrus. The finish ends with a gentle kick of black pepper.

1800 Tequila takes its name from the year 1800. Many tellings say that is when tequila was first aged in oak. The tall bottle nods to the shape of the Mayan pyramids.

Use it for margaritas, palomas or a tequila sunrise. It is smooth enough to sip on the rocks, too. It makes a good gift for tequila lovers. It is also a solid base for any bar stocked with quality spirits.
