Its founders witnessed traditional American whiskey-making and the old single-malt making ways from masters of each and forged a path between the new and the old to create their whiskies. With their willingness to blur boundaries, 10th Street distillery is not constrained by any one way of creating unique and delicious whiskies and with their firm foundations and hard work, they bring you 10th Street STR Single Malt. This beautiful, light-golden whiskey is made with 100% American non-peated malt barley and is matured in shaved-toasted-recharred or, STR, casks. The nose is spicy and sweet with top notes of caramel and butterscotch, leading into a complex palate with layers of cherry-like sweetness, vanilla bean, nutmeg and clove. The finish is smooth and round on the palate with elegant notes of sweet candied fruits. Single Malt from 10th Street American Whiskey won double gold at both the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and at the 2020 NY International Spirits Competition.
