Tarsier Taipei Old Tom Gin began as a backpacking adventure across Southeast Asia in 2015, when co-founders Tim Driver and Sherwin Acebuche discovered the vibrant flavors and landscapes of the region. Inspired by the balance and simplicity of the cuisine they encountered, they started crafting gin in a small back room of a pub using copper alembic pot stills. As their skills grew, so did their distillery, where they now create cold-distilled blends with bold, layered flavors.

Each bottle carries the Tarsier, designed by Filipino artist Juvel Tiu Modayno, symbolizing the brand’s unique spirit. The Taipei edition is part of their Backpacking Series, reflecting the beauty of Taiwan and its famous teas. This Old Tom style gin blends Tarsier’s signature botanicals with Oolong tea, kumquat, hibiscus, and ginseng. On the nose, you’ll notice light tea aromas with floral and herbal hints. On the palate, it’s refreshing and fruity, with a subtle sweetness balancing zesty, earthy, and aromatic notes.
