Sandeman Fine Ruby Port (750Ml)

Description

Sandeman Fine Ruby is a classic port wine from Portugal's Douro Valley. Its roots go back to the fiery ruby ports that George Sandeman first shipped in 1790. After harvest, the young wines rest in the Douro until the following spring. They then travel to the Sandeman lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia to age in oak casks.

Pour a glass and you will see a brilliant ruby red. The nose is clean, with red fruit, plum and strawberry. On the palate it feels full, rich and round. Fresh plum and red berry flavours lead the way. It stays nicely balanced right to the end.

Serve it slightly cool, at about 14 to 16°C. There is no need to decant it. Once opened, enjoy it within about four weeks. It is bottled at 19.5% ABV.
