Elmer T. Lee Bourbon is named after the legendary Master Distiller (1919–2013) of Buffalo Trace Distillery. Crafted with care at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, this bourbon is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) and made using the distillery’s secret Mash Bill #2, which contains a higher amount of rye grain for added spice and character. Each bottle comes from a single hand-selected barrel, chosen to meet the exacting taste and quality standards set by Elmer T. Lee himself.
Although there’s no age statement on the bottle, it’s believed to be aged between 9 and 14 years, giving it a rich and balanced flavor. The taste is smooth and elegant, with layers of fruit, honey, vanilla, clove, and gentle spice, along with subtle hints of old leather. Its aroma is light and inviting, featuring notes of vanilla, oak, and clove, while the finish is long, warm, and softly spiced.
Elmer T. Lee, who also created the world’s first modern single-barrel bourbon, Blanton’s, in 1984, left behind a lasting legacy with this exceptional whiskey. Available in a 750ml bottle, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon is produced in limited quantities and is highly sought after by bourbon lovers worldwide.
