Aged for 12 years in Cabernet French White Oak Barrels, this extra anejo is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and contains no added sugars, flavors, colors and chemicals. Pure as pure can get, Codigo 1530 XII Extra Anejo is produced by using 2-3 times more agave then standard tequilas, creating a complex and expressive nose that is layered between sweet oak and spice imparted from the barrel. Bottled at 80 proof, Codigo tequila contains a robust and smooth palate with a long finish that demonstrates a refined agave flavor unlike any other.

Perfected over many generations, this artisan tequila is an exquisite sip that expresses centuries of tequila making in a single bottle. Codigo 1530 XII Extra Anejo Tequila is bottled in a black painted bottle with silver ink and comes stored within a hand-made native Parotta wooden box. This set includes 2 tequila tasting glasses as well as a custom metallic cork.
