Description

Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch. At its heart sits Strathisla single malt, the spiritual home of Chivas. It is joined by Strathclyde single grain whisky. Every drop in the blend has spent at least 12 years in oak.

Lift the glass and you will find wild herbs, heather and honey. Ripe orchard fruit follows close behind. The palate is round and creamy. Honey and vanilla lead, then hazelnut and butterscotch fill in. The finish is rich and lingers for a good while.

Judges like it too. Chivas lists Gold from the International Spirits Challenge in 2020. Silver medals came from the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2019 and 2021.

Pour it neat, over ice or in a tall highball with soda. It suits a Rob Roy too.
