Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Vol. 5 Straight Rye Whiskey gives you a new way to experience rye. You get a blend of two carefully aged ryes—one matured for up to seven years, and another that rested for more than eleven. After that, the whiskey spends up to 12 months in French oak barrels that once held Extra Añejo tequila. That finish adds layers you don’t usually find in rye, and you’ll notice them right away.

When you open the bottle, you’ll pick up soft floral notes, ripe fruit, and a touch of vanilla. Take a sip and the whiskey shifts into warm baking spices, clove, and cracked pepper. The tequila-barrel finish steps in with herbal agave, orange blossom honey, and a hint of tobacco. There’s also a subtle tropical fruit sweetness that rounds everything out.
