Description
Both the name and art on the bottles of Shanky’s Whip are a reference to a famous Irish jockey who was banned from racing or riding a horse due to, to put it indirectly, celebrating a bit too hard. So, he later returned riding an Ostrich, exclaiming that it wasn’t a horse. Shanky’s Whip is inspired by his tenacity and proclivity for going against a trend. Their Irish whiskey spirit not only demonstrates his qualities, but also his taste for stout, cream and whiskey and dislike for the burn. Shanky’s whip is a delicious blend of these things- a blend of Black Irish Whiskey, Irish spirits, and vanilla. First, they take aged pot still whiskey and blend it with caramel to make it black whiskey, then it's blended with the natural flavors of cream and vanilla and bottled in bond in Ireland. The creamy stout-like texture and whiskey vanilla flavors make for a wonderfully unique and satisfying drink which goes down incredibly easy. Try it mixed into Irish whiskey, over ice with some cola, or in many other delicious combinations!
