You’ll notice right away that this violet liqueur brings a different kind of charm to your bar. It’s made in Austria, where Destillerie Purkhart has spent three generations perfecting floral spirits. They use Queen Charlotte and March Violets from the Austrian Alps, and you can taste that purity in every sip. The color looks stunning — a deep, natural violet that comes straight from the macerated petals.
You get a sweet, soft, and intensely floral flavor that feels like walking through a field of blooming violets. The grape brandy base keeps the texture smooth, and the slightly higher ABV (20–24%) gives the liqueur more depth without making it heavy. You only need a small amount to transform a cocktail. Add a dash to gin, lemon, and maraschino, and you’ll have a proper Aviation. It also works well in a Blue Moon or with Champagne when you want something elegant.
