Chardonnay 2019 stands out among those produced by Louis Jadot. The Mâcon Villages area is located in the southern part of Burgundy, close to the Beaujolais area. This appellation is the largest of the Mâconnais area, covering about 2,500 ha of vineyards and 43 communes. The limestone subsoil of the Monts du Mâconnais is ideal for growing the Chardonnay grapes used to create the 2019 from Louis Jadot. Unoaked, Macon-Villages Chardonnay 2019 is sourced, vinified and aged in stainless steel vats in order to keep its fruitiness and freshness before being put together for bottling. The aroma is of buttered peaches with ripe orchard fruit and floral notes. The body is medium to full with a glossy and textured feel ripe with tannins balanced by the citrus, pear and apple flavors.
