Heavensake arose from the collaboration between the acclaimed and admired French cellar master Regis Camus and Japan’s most respected
sake breweries. A world-renowned chef de caves at Maison Rare Champagne, Regis set out to use his breadth of knowledge, experience, and skill to craft beautifully blended and
unique sake which honor Japanese heritage and tradition of sake-making. Using his refined skill set, Regis masterfully blended and crafted each Heavensake, resulting in wonderfully balanced and harmonious compositions. Each sake is gluten and additive free and all natural, with no added sugar. Heavensake Junmai Ginjo Sake comes from Urakasumi, a brewery founded in 1724 and known for its “zen” junmai ginjo used as the base for this four sake blend. This creation is smooth, light and crisp, evoking a bouquet and flavor experience reminiscent of early spring. On the nose is bright lemon zest, cocoa, and creme brulee. The palette is succulent with honeycomb, nougat and white raisin with a light finish. For the best experience, serve chilled in a wine glass, with suggested pairings of baked fish, pasta or even pizza!
