Beer is one the most popular alcoholic drinks on the market. It brings people together whether it’s for a party or a calm movie night in. There is always a place for beer in people’s hearts. Welcome it with open arms, and maybe even add a few extra ingredients to it to make it taste more unique.
There are fun options to try all in the convenience of your own home. For example: ‘The Fluttering Shandy.’ It’s made with 1 ½ oz. Mariposa Agave Nectar Liqueur, 2 lime wedges (squeezed, and 5 ½ oz. lager beer. Pour the liqueur into a glass filled with ice, add the lime wedges, and then top with beer. It’s refreshing and calming on the palate. If you’re a grapefruit fan, then you will love a ‘Captain’s Keg.’ It’s made with 4 oz. light beer, 1 oz. Shellback Spiced Rum, 1 oz. agave nectar, and 1 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice. You will combine all of the ingredients except the beer in a glass filled with ice, then top with beer, stir, and garnish with a lime wheel. It’s very sweet and tart, but great for a picnic. Sweetened drinks are great; ‘The Negril’ is a pineapple heaven. It’s made with 2 oz.
Belvedere Bloody Mary, 1 oz. pineapple juice, and 1 oz. of ginger beer. Combine all of the ingredients in a glass filled with ice, and then stir it gently. You can add a lime wedge for a garnish at the end. Maybe you like a bit of a strong drink; ‘The Bitter Devil’ may be right up your alley. It’s made with 1 oz. Jim Bea, Devil’s Cut Bourbon, 2 oz. ginger beer, and ½ juiced lime. Combine all of the ingredients in a glass filled with ice, and then stir it.
Add an orange wedge for added flavor. Calmer drinks are fun too; ‘Mike’s Full Moon’ is just delightful. It’s made with ½ bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade and ½ bottle of Blue Moon Beer. For a garnish you can add an orange slice. It’s tasty and unique. It will be the drink of the party.
