FUN TEQUILA MIXES

There is never a dull moment when decide to mix your own alcoholic drink. There are billions of different possibilities to suit your palate well. If you don’t like one thing, then try something else. If you’re a tequila lover, then you will love these mixes: ‘Agave Kiss by Herradura.’ The ingredients are 2 oz. Tequila Herradura Silver, 1 oz. white Crème de Cacao, 1 oz. double cream, ½ oz. Chambord, white chocolate and fresh raspberries for a garnish.

In a shaker with ice, add the Herradura tequila, white crème de cacao, double cream, and Chambord. Shake for 15-20 seconds. Pour it into a very chill glass that’s rimmed with white chocolate, and then add a spear of fresh raspberries. It’s a very sweet and delightful drink served in a fancy martini glass. An ‘Acapulco’ is great; you will take an old fashioned glass filled with ice, and then add 1 ½ oz. Tequila, 2 oz. pineapple juice, followed by Sprite. It’s a sweet drink with a little bit of spice added to the mix.

Tequila is a very popular and easy to mix drink. You will definitely find something you love to mix with this liqueur. Try ‘Absolute Tequila.’ It’s made with 1 part tequila, 1 part Absolute vodka, 4 parts orange juice, and 1 lemon slice after it’s all shaken up. Make sure to shake the entire ingredients well, and then serve with a lemon slice and a lot of crushed ice.

If you’d like a big kick to your drink for the night, try an ‘Acapulco Clam Digger.’ It’s made with 1 ½ oz. Tequila, 3 oz. tomato juice, 3 oz. clam juice, ½ tsp. horseradish, a few dashes of Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce, and a few drops of lemon juice. You will mix all the ingredients well in a big glass filled with ice, and then garnish with lemon juice. If you don’t want to use clam or tomato juice, you can replace it with clamato juice.

Make you drink fruitier by creating an ‘Adam Bomb.’ It’s made with 1 oz. tequila, 1 oz. rum, 1 oz. vodka, ½ oz. Triple Sec, any fruit of choice, ½ glass of ice, salt or sugar, and 1-2 oz. fruit juice. Add ice to a bender, add all of the ingredients, and blend until very smooth. After that you will rim the glass with sugar or salt, pour your drink in and add a lemon or lime slice for garnish. It’s a tasty and fun drink to make.
