Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila

  • 2 oz grapefruit juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • Sliced jalapeno – the more jalapeno, the spicier!

  • Splash of soda water

  1. Prep your jalapenos by slicing and removing the seeds. The more jalapeno you add to the drink, the spicier it will be.

  2. Pour your tequila, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, lime juice, and sliced jalapeno into a chilled cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  3. Shake to make sure that your drink is evenly chilled throughout. Strain and pour the drink into a glass of your choosing.

  4. Top off with soda water. Grapefruit flavored seltzer can help enhance the natural flavors of your grapefruit juice, and grapefruit soda adds sweetness for those with a sweet tooth.

  5. Garnish your drink with a sliver of grapefruit and a jalapeno round to finish.

  6. Enjoy!
