With a four-grain mash bill, Whiskey Row Bottled in Bond Bourbon from Kentucky Artisan Distillery offers a rich spicy-sweet flavor palette. Starting in 1850 and throughout prohibition, Louisville’s Whiskey Row was a hub for various spirits distilled and traded throughout Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Thus, various blends were brought forth through the process of expansion West. Bottled in Bond Bourbon’s mix of corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley are carefully blended in various amounts to create a beautiful mash that's fermented, distilled, barreled and bottled all in the same place. The array of apricot, peach, chocolate, and sweet oak flavors combine with ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg to deepen the initial complexity of spicy-sweetness on the nose. The finish is long and bright-with the caramel and fruit in harmony with oak and spice.
