sake competition in Japan, it is also the first female-owned brewery in Nara. Ty Ku Sake uses a soft, iron-free water source from deep springs from the mountain ranges it sits between. To activate the main sake mash, Umenoyado uses natural heat convection and active koji in a premium, cedar-lined Koji room. Their traditional, natural methods result in some of the world’s finest sake, including Ty Ku Soju.
