Jalisco is the heart of the finest tequila in the world. Patrón makes all its tequila from 100% blue Weber agave.

The idea behind XO Cafe was simple. It is meant to be a coffee tequila, not an overly sweet coffee liqueur. That is why it is bottled at 70 proof (35% alcohol by volume). Most coffee liqueurs are lower in proof and much sweeter. XO Cafe is made to taste dry instead. The higher proof lifts the coffee flavor and lets the tequila show through. You also notice a light touch of agave on the finish. It is less sweet than most coffee liqueurs. So it works well in cocktails, as an after-dinner sip, or in your cooking. Try it in an Espresso Martini or over vanilla ice cream.
