This release marks the 26th time this prestige blend has been crafted since its first appearance in 1959. The numbering helps you know exactly which blend you’re drinking. The mix brings together three acclaimed vintages, led by a dominant recent year, supported by two older ones that add maturity and complexity.
You’ll taste a careful balance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay taking the lead. All the grapes come from top Grand Cru villages, known for producing wines with clarity and mineral tension. The wine rests on its lees for a full decade, which builds richness without losing energy.
On the nose, you’ll notice citrus, white flowers, and soft buttery notes. Take a sip and you’ll find candied lemon, almond, and a clean chalky finish.
