Description
Clyde May, distributed Conecuh Ridge Distillery Inc., has roots which reach back to one of the most notorious bootleggers of the 20th century. Clyde May was known all throughout Bullock County Alabama for making large amounts of quality moonshine from his distillery tucked away in the woods. After his death in 1990, his son Kenny took the mantle and began producing the spirit legally as a way of honoring his fathers legacy. Now distilled and distributed by another, the name of Clyde May lives on. Clyde May's Special Reserve
Bourbon Whiskey is a deep amber color. On the nose are sweet notes of clove, brown sugar and other spices. The palate is spicy, with a high proof burn and a hint of sweetness. With strong, structured tannins, the finish is long and warm with intense notes of baking spices. Sip this bourbon neat or with a few drops of water to experience the full heat, or try on the rocks to take some sting out of the burn.
