Description
Casey Jones Distillery is inspired by the man himself- a man who developed and sold copper moonshine stills that were efficient and easy to break down in case a ‘shiner needed to leave quickly. The craftsman built sills all over Golden Pond, Kentucky for over 30 years, and moonshine from there became known as the best around, often making its way to the infamous Al Capone. Casey Jones’ grandson, Arlon Casey Jones, became inspired by his grandfather's ingenuity and passion and began crafting and producing moonshine in the original copper still from a recipe passed down through generations. Casey Jones Small Batch Bourbon is an homage from deep within the family’s distilling roots. Aged for one year, this new introduction is their very first small batch bourbon, offering a taste of the spirit of true Kentucky craft bourbon taken to a whole new level. With a high corn and low rye mashbill, this bourbon is spicy and gentle with strong notes of sweet corn, oak, and smoke. This
Small batch bourbon whiskey is fantastic sipped neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail such as a gold rush or a classic Irish coffee.
