A ‘Sin-grita’ for instance, is made with 2 slices of orange, 4 lime wedges, ¾ oz. rock candy, 1.5 oz. Casa Noble Reposado, ½ oz. Cointreau, pinch of Kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, few drops of habanera pepper sauce, and tomato juice. Muddle the orange slices, lime wedges, rock candy, and ice cubes in mixing glass; add remaining ingredients and fill mixing glass with tomato juice; shake well, and then rim a serving glass with chili salt (Kosher salt, sugar, black pepper, red pepper all mixed in a spice grinder). Transfer the mixture from the mixing glass to the serving glass. For a simple and tasty drink, make a ‘Snake Bite;’ it’s made with 1 part tequila and 1 part Jack Daniels. This one definitely has quite the bite if you can handle it.
For those coffee lovers out there, a ‘Spanish Moss’ is a great choice in cocktails. It’s made with 1 oz. tequila, 1 oz. liqueur, and I oz. Crème de Menthe. Stir with ice and strain into glass. Fruity drinks are a raging hit all around the world; a ‘Splash’ is calling your name. It’s made with 1 oz. Herradura Silver Tequila, 2 oz. pineapple juice, 2 oz. cranberry juice, and a splash of lemon-lime soda. Combine the Herradura, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice with ice in a cocktail shaker; shake and strain into a highball glass half filled with ice, and then top it off with the lemon-lime soda. A ‘Tequila Canyon’ is also a great choice for flavor; it’s made with 1.5 oz. tequila, ¼ oz. Triple Sec, 3 oz. cranberry juice, ½ oz. pineapple juice, and ½ oz. orange juice. Pour all of it over ice and stir. Enjoy all of this loveliness.
