MAKE A GRAND TEQUILA GESTURE

When you want to make a real impact on your friends, try surprising them with your newly-learned tequila cocktail making skills. There are an endless amounts of really tasty cocktails you can make with tequila; just know what your taste buds like, and go from there. An ‘Alamo Splash’ is refreshing and sweet for a nice hot summer day. It’s made with 1 ½ oz. tequila, 1 oz. orange juice, ½ oz. pineapple juice, and 1 splash of a lemon-lime soft drink. Mix is all with cracked ice, and then strain into a Collins glass. If you like a sweet and sour drink, an ‘Amaretto Stone Sour #3’ is great! It’s made with 2 oz. tequila, 2 oz. sweet & sour mix, 2 oz. Amaretto, and a splash of orange juice. Shake the first 3 ingredients with ice, and then strain into a highball glass. Add a splash of orange juice, and then garnish with and orange slice and cherry. It’s pretty and delightful. For an extra sugary but yummy drink, try to make an ‘Ambassador.’ It’s made with 2 oz. tequila, 4 oz. orange juice, and 1 oz. sugar syrup. You will pour the tequila into a glass, add ice and orange juice, and then the sugar syrup to make sweeter. It’s almost like a candy store in your mouth.

Trying something different is great if your taste buds enjoy unique flavors; an ‘Amor’ is great for just that reason. It’s made with 1 ½ oz. tequila and ½ oz. Orange Curacao. It’s simple to make and great for any occasion. Just serve in an old-fashioned glass with ice. For a thicker and tastier drink, make an ‘Apollo.’ It’s made with 1 ½ oz. tequila, 1 oz. Galliano, 1 oz. Blue Curacao, and a bit of cream. Shake the tequila, Galliano, and Curacao with ice, and then strain into a cocktail glass. Float the cream on top. The flavors are definitely interesting if you are trying it for the first time. A ‘Bahareita’ is such a fun drink! It’s made with 1 ½ oz. of Patron Silver, 2 cherries, 1 tsp. of pure cane sugar, and 1 cup of chocolate milk. You will muddle all the cherries with sugar in a tall glass, fill the glass with ice, add Patron Silver, and fill with chocolate milk. After that you will shake and pour into a glass with ice or strain into a shot glass. Now you will have some interesting and simple-to-make cocktails to try with your friends. Enjoy.
