Simple Margarita Recipes

A traditional margarita is made with just three ingredients: tequila, lime juice, and triple sec. Azul Grande Margarita, also known as the blue margarita, uses blue curaçao which doesn’t change the flavor. Blue curaçao is just another orange liqueur but makes it sweeter and a tiny bit more bitter. This is without a doubt one of the more easy margarita recipes.

Ingredients:

  • Coarse salt (optional)
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce blue curaçao liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Lime wedge, or orange slice and cherry as a garnish

You can start by rimming an already chilled margarita glass with salt. Continue by adding ice, tequila, blue curaçao, and lime juice to a shaker. Shake well, pour and garnish according to your preference.
