FUN SHOT RECIPES

Going to a bar and getting a drink you like is a fun task to figure out. Sometimes it’s a challenge to really know what your palate will enjoy. Just remember you can basically have sample alcohol (you pay for them of course); they are called shots. There are lots of fun options to choose from; you can even create the drink in your home for you or for your friends. A really easy and tasty drink to make is called an “Irish Car Bomb.” It’s made with 1 pint of Guinness Beer, 1 shot Irish whiskey, and 1 shot Irish Cream. The correct way to make it is to fill a pint glass 2/3 full of Guinness, and then you fill a double shot glass with Jameson and Baileys. After that you will drop the shot glass into the Guinness and then chug the entire thing immediately. It’s a fun way to bring the party to you. Your friends will love it. If you like butterscotch, then you will love a “Buttery Nipple.” It’s made with 1 ounce Butterscotch Schnapps and ½ ounce Irish Cream. To make it you would pour the Butterscotch Schnapps in the bottom of a shot glass, and then very carefully layer Irish Cream on top to make it float. The shot is ready after that. It is very sweet but very tasty. Something a bit similar and just as lovely is a “Tweaked Buttery Nipple.” It’s made with 1 ounce Rum, ½ ounce Butterscotch Schnapps, and ½ ounce Irish Cream. You put the rum first, then the Schnapps, and lastly the Irish Cream. Add a stir stick to miss it all up. There are tremendous amounts of yummy drinks out there; try something different today with the flavors you decide. Anything is possible.
