COCKTAIL HOUR

Having a cocktail is good at any hour; if you make it yourself, you can enjoy it on your free time. There are recipes galore that will make your taste buds smile. A ‘Barbotage’ is sweet and savory enough to make any night special. To make it, you’ll pour cognac and Grand Marnier into a champagne flute and then top up with brut champagne. It is simple and fun to drink. Making a ‘champagne punch’ is great for small or even big parties; your friends will adore you after making this. In a big punch bowl, you will add brut champagne, 1.5 oz. brandy, 1.5 oz. Cointreau, 1 bottle of club soda, and a berg of ice. Decorate with sliced fresh pineapple, oranges, and lots of fresh mint. You can add fresh strawberries and orange rind at the end. The flavor is magnificent and delightful.

Making alcoholic punch is very popular these days; make ‘Aristocrat Sparkling Punch’ for a punch of flavors. In a punch bowl, pour a bottle of red burgundy, dissolve ½ cup sugar into that, add 4 oz. of brandy, stir, and then pour in 2 bottles of brut champagne and 1 quart of sparkling water. Place a big block of ice in the bowl, and then decorate with strawberries, raspberries, oranges, and any other seasonal fruits to your liking. An ‘Atomic Cocktail’ will make your night; you will stir 1.5 oz. vodka, 1.5 oz. brandy, and 1 teaspoon of sherry together well with cracked ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add 1.5-2 oz. brut champagne. Garnish with any cute gummy animals for added fun. There will never be a dull night when you learn to be your own bartender every once in a while. Impress your friends with some fun skills you learned; they will surely be impressed. Enjoy.
