Have a perfect holiday drink; ‘Tom and Jerry’ is a tasty and luxurious drink that will excite your palate just in time for the holidays. It’s made with 5 lbs. sugar, 12 eggs, ½ small glass of Jamaica rum, 1.5 tsp. of ground cinnamon, ½ tsp. ground cloves, and ½ tsp. of ground allspice. Beat the whites of the eggs to a stiff froth, and the yolks until they are as thin as water, and then mix together and add the spice and rum. Thicken with sugar until the mixture attains the consistency of a light batter; take a small bar glass, and to one table spoonful of the above mixture, and one wine-glass of Premium Brandy, and fill the glass with boiling water, and then grate a bit of nutmeg on top.
For a simple and delightful drink to have during the holiday season, and even in the warm summer months, try a ‘Whiskey Sour.’ It’s made with 1.5 oz. bourbon whiskey, 1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice, ½ oz. simple syrup, and 1 maraschino cherry. Put ice in a glass, and then measure out all of the ingredients and pour on top. Stir it and then add a cherry for garnish.
Add a bit of simplicity into your life with a ‘Seven & Seven.’ It’s made with 1.5 oz. Seagram’s Seven Crown whiskey and 4 oz. 7-Up. Add the ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice and then stir gently.
For a bit of spice and ginger, make a ‘Presbyterian.’ It’s made with 2 oz. scotch or rye whiskey, ginger ale, and club soda. Add this Premium scotch to a Collins glass and fill with ice; fill with equal amounts of ginger ale and soda to fill up the rest of the cup. Enjoy.
