Description

Rock Hill Farms Bourbon is part of the Buffalo Trace distillery's Bourbon Mashbill #2 family, and is named for the fertile farmland along the Kentucky River. This 100-proof single barrel straight bourbon is a beautiful dark bronze color, and has an aroma of light hay, cooked apples, and summer cherries, without a hint of alcohol burn despite its high proof. The palate is lightly spiced, with a hefty hit of creamy-textured leather and oak. As you contemplate the flavor, you'll notice vanilla bean and toasted sugar. Rye spice is apparent on the finish, with more oak and vanilla holding on through the end.
