This single malt scotch from Glenfiddich Grande Couronne is matured for 26 years in American and European oak casks with an extended finish in French cognac casks. This crowning glory offers an opulent experience meant to be savored. An extended finish in rare French cognac casks adds extra lavish layers of sweet tasted oak and velvety aromas of café crème, brown sugar and soft spice. The nose is vibrant and lively with an abundance of toasty oak sweetness, freshly-baked Tarte Tatin and buttery choux pastry. The palate is deep, velvety smooth, and indulgently sweet. With flavors of café crème, soft brown sugar, and a hint of spice, the finish is of a very long-lasting sweet oak.
